What to expect at Show Me the Light
Show Me the Light: The VR Silent Disco is part of ADE 2025 and takes place at The Cue Club in Westergas. The concept is simple yet mind-bending. You put on a VR headset and headphones, entering a shared digital space with up to twelve participants. Together, you dance, move, and explore a world that changes with the beat.
The soundtrack, created by Brass Rave Unit, drives every shift. As the rhythm builds, virtual skyscrapers rise, dissolve, and reform. The horizon turns into pixels, the sun appears, and then time freezes before the next pulse of sound begins. The experience explores whether we lead the rhythm or the rhythm leads us.
Show Me the Light was first introduced as a prototype at Paradiso, one of Amsterdam’s most iconic music venues. After being featured at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, it now returns in its full form for ADE.
