Terms & Conditions

1. Usage of the storage facility is at the user’s risk. Title 9 of Boek 7 Burgerlijk Wetboek concerning “custody” (bewaarneming) does not apply to the agreement between Drop&Go and users of the luggage storage.

2. The prices for using the luggage storage are fixed per 24 hours and based on the size of each item. Additional fees may apply for very heavy items to prevent heavy lifting by our employees. Items and their contents should not exceed a total value of €500. Drop&Go is not responsible for damaged or missing items valued over €500.

3. Customers must ensure their items are securely packed and closed. Drop&Go is not responsible for items that are damaged or missing due to poor packaging.

4. Drop&Go accepts debit cards, credit cards, and cash. No refunds will be provided once payment is made, except as required by law or agreed upon for good reason.

5. Drop&Go reserves the right to inspect the contents of items. Customers are prohibited from storing illegal, hazardous, perishable, or flammable items, including explosives, firearms, and substances prohibited by law. Drop&Go may refuse items that are too valuable, too large, or have potentially dangerous contents. Every customer indemnifies Drop&Go against damage caused by the contents of the items put in storage.

6. Drop&Go will provide one receipt per item. All items must be labeled separately. Return of items will only occur upon presentation of the receipt to a Drop&Go employee. The same rules apply for the temporary return of items.

7. Drop&Go reserves the right to verify the identity of anyone claiming items. If a ticket is lost, customers will be asked to name three specific items in their luggage for identification. If someone else finds the ticket, they may pick up the item. However, if Drop&Go doubts the rightful owner of the luggage, three items in the bag must still be named.

8. Drop&Go will take all reasonable measures to care for stored items, safeguard them, and return them in good condition. However, Drop&Go cannot guarantee that all items will always be returned undamaged.

9. Customers may access their stored luggage to add or retrieve items from the same labeled item without additional charge. Access is permitted only during opening hours and if storage fees have been paid up to that point.

10. Drop&Go is not responsible for damage caused by the customer, except for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence on the part of Drop&Go or its employees. Liability for consequential damages is excluded. Drop&Go’s liability is limited to €500 per item (including contents) at any time.

11. Luggage will be kept for a maximum of 1 month unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Unclaimed items after this period may be considered abandoned and disposed of at Drop&Go’s discretion.

12. Key service: It is the host’s responsibility to inform guests of the key collection location and store’s opening hours. Drop&Go’s key service is offered during opening hours only. Guests must provide valid identification when collecting keys.

13. Drop&Go is not responsible for any costs incurred if customers do not collect their belongings / keys within our opening hours.

14. Drop&Go is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. Personal information collected will be used solely for providing services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

15. Customers must behave in a respectful and lawful manner on Drop&Go premises. Inappropriate behavior may result in refusal of service.

16. Drop&Go is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions.

17. Drop&Go reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
